Housebound...

It's raining and windy... effects from late season tropical storm Tomas... The breeze started kicking up last night already and we had 6/10 of an inch of rain... They're saying we're supposed to get 5-10 inches and some places 15"... We had mostly wind through the night and the wind turbine is putting out the current... keeping after real well in charging the batteries... We're not supposed to get the real storm until tonight through tomorrow, so we'll see what it's like... I don't think it will be as strong as the 2008 Gustav was that passed directly over us... I just hope that I can keep my internet connection the whole time... Sometimes when the weather is too bad we lose connection... and when there's hurricanes in the vicinity, I like to know what's going on too much... :) As long as we're not sopping water up on the floors day and night for the next 3 days, I think we'll make out fine... I find hurricanes rather intriguing... there's such a wild feel to the weather... and it's so interesting to know some of the ins and outs of how they operate and all the different weather systems affect and steer them too... anyway, enough of that... It makes you realize even more God's greatness and how His ways are beyond understanding...
