Swinging Fun!

I was amused to see Elaine out playing on the swing today with her doll occupying the swing next to her!

 It was fun just to sit there and catch all her stunts on camera!

 Janelle is not so wild as her sister...

Friends...

  A dear friend of mine, Mme Claudy (Ruth), was here to visit last week. It was the first time I saw her baby Beverly, and the first that she saw Weston. It was so nice to spend time with her again. I love going down to her area, but it's an hour and a half south of here, and not a practical trip to make with all the children. So our visits are generally few and far between...

Beverly and Weston are only 6 days apart. They're both 5 months old now. In some things Beverly is more advanced because she's more agressive, and in other things Weston is ahead of her. I didn't realize how little Weston cries until spending a day with Beverly. She's not a fussy baby most of the time. It's just I am SO THANKFUL for a contented baby! :)

Thanksgiving Day...

We were together for a special lunch...

Then we had activities for the children...

But the highlight of the day was the piñata that Jessie and Anita made...

 It was an enjoyable day and I'm sure my children will be talking about it for the rest of the year and the year to come!!! :)

Good morning!

I have not forgotten to post... In fact, every day I think I'm going to get it done, and then it's the end of the day and I realize it's still on the to do list... I actually tried to upload pictures from Thanksgiving Day yesterday, and was having trouble doing it, so I'll try again today...

It has been an extremely busy week, and I'm dealing with sick children too, so it makes for disrupted days and nights... Elaine had been having fairly high fevers with her cold, but she had a better night last night. Weston was really stuffy last night, so he was awake a lot and spent most of the night in bed with me...

A dear friend of mine, Mme Claudy from Comme Jean came to see me yesterday. She has a doll of a baby girl that is Weston's age, and since I haven't been able go down to see her, she left her husband and 3 other girls at home in order to pay me a short visit. I feel honored. It's so good to see her again, and it's fun to catch up on each other's lives again... She'll be leaving later today.

Of naughty pillows and beds...

Janelle (2-1/2) wanted me to return her pillow that was on the floor the other evening. When I said that she shouldn't throw it on the floor, she quickly fired back with, "It wasn't me, Mommy!" When I asked her who did if she didn't, she told me,  "It was the bed!"

Loretta's birthday was last week, so the children sang "Happy Birthday" to her while holding the letters...

Today...

 Rachel often begs to hold Weston. I love this picture of them!

Rose (14) baked dinner rolls today. The results were beautiful and quite edible, too! :)
