Treasures...

 Yes, here's my dirty-faced treasures, Elaine & Jonathan, bringing their Mommy flowers... Isn't it sweet? I have wished so often that I could get a picture of their faces when they bring their small offerings... They just beam, and it sure makes you feel so loved!

I think Elaine was noticing Jonathan's dirty face from playing in the sand... too bad she doesn't see her own!

Yesterday I heard and saw lots of people at this bright blue house across the way, and when I asked Maxo what was going on, he told me that it was a "Bwote"... A girl that lives in that house is planning to get married on Saturday, and so the people came to take her things to the groom's house...

Often they sing on their way... but these people were too far away to hear if they were singing or not.

Happy Birthday, Rose!

 Rose celebrated her 15th birthday last Friday, and we had a little tea party for her.

 We invited her friends, Deidra & Ashley along with their family and Steve's for the day on Saturday

It was a very enjoyable day, and we topped it off with cake and home made ice cream!

 When just plain riding tricycle gets boring you find something interesting to do...

 ... hook a bucket over the seat and put one over your head 

 ~ just see what it's like to ride without seeing where you're going!!!! 

 It's grand fun!

But just to be safe it might be good once in a while to lift the bucket and check your whereabouts!

Or if you're still bored... How about checking out the world through snorkeling goggles???

Playmates

 Weston (almost 9 months) and Claudy Simmons (13 months) just discovered recently that they're buddies! They had such a riot the other day when they were together in Weston's crib.

 They wrestled.

 Played "pull me down"...

And patched everything up in the end with wet, baby kisses!

 Elaine was in her glory having the privilege of pushing Weston, and she guarded that privilege jealously!

 The children had so much fun loading the puppies in their little cart and taking them for a ride.

Yeye and Rose asked the other day if they may make shoofly pie. I said, "Go for it!" They did and created some very edible results!!! :) I was impressed, as it was a first try for both of them!

Family, Friends, & Coffee...

One of the things I really wanted to do on my birthday was to get some family pictures....

The sunset was beautiful, but it was almost too dark! Still I thought it kind of had a nice effect.

We enjoyed a weekend with the nurses from Allegre and made lots of enjoyable memories!
