Do you see what I see?

 This is under the hood of the Husky... do you see what is outlined by a star???

One of my chickens must have picked this spot to lay her eggs! I have no idea how long that was rattling around under there!!! Might have had a few trips to church?

A special meal...

The girls were really anxious to have fish for dinner again. So we bought some at market. 

The children were totally intrigued watching Yeye prepare it.

Cleaned and washed with citron, not they're ready to be marinated...

then dredged in flour, and fried...

The girls also made red beet salad. That's a favorite with me. It's made with red beets, potatoes, carrots, peas, corn, and tastes very much like potato salad in the States...

The girls wanted their pictures taken with their special dishes... They also made rice & beans, but that was too "everyday" to take a picture with it!!! :) The children loved the fish - it was the highlight of their day! :)

10 months old!

My baby is 10 months old!

I don't know where time gets to - we sure are enjoying our little man! He's such a happy, jolly fellow!

But... I already find myself missing this stage... When preemie clothes were too big for him...

...seeing all the tiny sleepers hanging on the line...

... and cuddling that little fellow who was content just to be held all the time...

He still loves to be held, he's still a cuddly little fellow and so much fun... I just hate to see him leaving the baby stage behind so fast! :)

'Nelle is 3!!!

Janelle was quite tickled with her cupcake that had 3 candles stuck in it! :)

We laughed when she told someone, "Mommy said I am "free" (three) now!

Tropical Downpour!

 We've been having more rain lately. When it rains here, usually it's short, fast and hard! 

 This afternoon we had about 1 1/2 inches in about an hour and a half!

 The water barrel full and overflowing!

Rose is taking advantage of the rain, and washing off the porch!!!!

Here's Rose, Weston, and Yeye posing for a picture. :) Yeye just loves Weston and when she doesn't make it to work she misses him. She always likes how happy he is to see her when she comes.

Yams

 Maxo dug yams on Wednesday at Charlo's place and we brought them home on the Husky.

 Here's the pile of them on the porch.

 Yesterday Maxo cut the roots off and planted them. It's hard to see in pics, but they plant the yams in hills.

We sold most of the rest of the yams at market today.
