We enjoyed a lovely 2 week visit from my brother and his family. We all spoiled Tori and made plenty of memories. We even made it to the beach. The drive and the views are so worth it!

A love for learning

Wes positively loves to learn new things... he knows his geography so well. He's constantly telling about some new creature he studied in science class. And right now he's hounding me to get done with a big fat book "Les Misérables" so he can read it.😉 In his words: "Why wouldn't you want to finish high school?! You might miss out on learning something!" I love it!

A Thousand Words...

Please excuse the silence in these parts. I do get inspired at times to post, but if pictures are really worth a thousand words, I think you can see what I'm doing... =)

 Mango season... my children LOVE mangoes!

 One afternoon after we had cut a bunch of banana plants and replanted, the children were having fun hauling the tops to the pigs.

 "Mommy, why are you always taking pictures of me?"

Sunshine

Yeye's son, Caleb gets spoiled by our whole family when he comes around. He is so cute and has a personality that only enhances his cuteness!

A weekend out

This past weekend we enjoyed a weekend in Labaleine with close friends of ours Jesse & Carol. We made many good memories. The children played so hard. I don't know when I saw them so tired out from play!

Cherlise gathered a whole handful of little snails. She is such a mixture of lady and tomboy!

Sunrise service

The sunrise was even more stunning for all the fog we had on Easter Sunday. Our tradition of singing while watching the sunrise is special to all of us and somehow makes the songs of the resurrection so much more real!

This young lady is getting very adept at making good food! She takes to cooking like a fish takes to water =)
